Completed Fixera work
Five uprights aligned into one wall system
Frederiksberg
The client had a four-section Cadovius Royal shelving system to install across a large living room wall. Five timber uprights had to form one precise composition, while the visible wall fixings also needed to suit the appearance of the system.

The work
The project story.
The Cadovius Royal System was to be installed across a living room wall in Frederiksberg. The wall measured approximately 4.518 m wide by 2.339 m high, and the composition used five timber uprights, each 165 cm long, to create four shelving sections.
Because the position of every upright affected the sections beside it, alignment was a central part of the installation. A laser was used during positioning, and the client had also asked for the exposed screw heads to have a gold or brass-like appearance rather than a silver finish.
Once the wall rails were positioned and fixed, the timber shelves and metal supports were assembled into the final composition. The completed system was later photographed in use with books and objects, and the client confirmed that they were very happy with the overall work.
What mattered
Key details.
- 01
Five uprights, four sections
Five 165 cm timber wall rails formed the geometry for the four-section shelving composition.
- 02
Laser-guided alignment
A laser was used during installation to help position the wall rails consistently across the large wall.
- 03
Visible fixings treated as a detail
Gold-coloured screw heads were used where the wall fixings remained visible through the timber rails.
