The work

The project story.

This window opening needed a cleaner interior finish. The job was to measure the reveal carefully, build the trim surround to suit the existing opening and leave the room with a much more complete window frame detail than before.

The fitting stage depended on accurate layout lines and repeated measurement so the trim would sit neatly around the window despite small existing irregularities. Once the main pieces were in place, the edges and visible surfaces were sanded so the finished surround looked even and ready for everyday use.

The final result gave the room a cleaner framed window opening and a more finished carpentry detail overall.
